September 24, 2009 07:41 PM PDT
This episode is dedicated to Dub. Leading the charge is the new release by Solomon Jabby, "Firmly Planted in Dub". If you are not familiar with the subgenre, dub reggae is normally a remix done by an engineer/dub scientist of another artist's work. Below, you'll notice the engineer's name in parenthesis. All the tracks below are dub remixes except for tracks 10, 13, and 14 which are original dub creations, which is the most common form now-a-days. Dub in Gospel Reggae is a sub-sub-genre, so you could probably own all of it for a small amount of cash. Do a search for "dub" in the download section of GospelReggae.com.
